The answer to this question is no. I am capable of building effective training plans without the need of a power meter.

I create a plan for you at whatever level of fitness you are at. Personalized attention is one of the best ways to achieve your goal. We don’t give you a one-size fits-all plan, we provide a well thought out and personalised program that is specifically designed to work with your schedule. Yes. Yes, I do. Working with people that are looking for a coach is the core of what I do. I help people improve their fitness with personalised training programs, nutritional advice, and accountability to see results quickly.

No worries. If, at the end of 30 days, you find coaching to be not for you, then you can cancel your contract and we’ll refund your 1st month’s fees.

If you decide you want to cancel the program after using it for a while, there’s no need to worry – it’s easy to do and won’t cost you a penny. However, if you wait past the first 90 days, an early cancellation fee will apply which is just equal to one month’s coaching payment.

On a yearly contract I can hold the position for 3 months without any problem, if you decide to do this no payment will be taken and coaching with stop. With the majority of injures the athlete still has some mobility and needs to recover so a lot of people tend to keep the coaching going and work with myself in a rehabilitation program to get them going much quicker. *Month-to-month coaching packages are not eligible for holds.

You’ll be able to access your schedule at least one week in advance. I will be monitoring training and analysing the data as it comes in. With feedback from you and the data your training plan will evolve over the course of our time working together.

You will be communicating with myself each week or month depending on the coaching level you have selected. We can discuss anything related to training, goals, race day strategy, nutrition and body, mind and soul. The list really just goes on as the coaching is personal to you as an individual.

I provide all coached athletes with Premium TrainingPeaks account, Aspire membership is the only level that does not come with a premium subscription. Whether you have a Basic or Premium Account with Training Peaks, at the start of your coaching, I will give you a link to sign into your current Training Peaks account that will attach you directly myself.

At the point of connecting the account I will upgrade you to the Coach McKinney roster and then will let you know that you can stop the premium subscription and I will take on the payment from now on. If you can you will go back to a basic subscription and lose no data.

When you sign up online, I will be in touch via email first to arrange a call or zoom! I’ll contact you within 24 hours or on the next business day. We’ll talk about what kind of training you are after and what your goals are for the coming season, and then get down to work.

Don’t worry, once you sign up we’ll bill you for your first month but the coaching term will not start until I have made contact and got you all setup.
